Epoch Announces Sale of Latitude Restaurant
Novi, MI -- (April 22) -- Epoch Restaurant Group has announced the sale of one of their Northern Michigan Restaurant properties. Located in Bay Harbor, MI, Latitude restaurant will be sold to the Symons' family, restaurateurs and business owners.
The price and terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Toni Wisne Sabina, Epoch's president stated that "the sale conforms to our future growth plans. It was a difficult decision, but it works well for us, Chandler, and Bay Harbor. We will continue to operate our successful Knot Just A Bar restaurant in Bay Harbor, and we are excited to have the Symons' as a new neighbor."
David V. Johnson, Chairman of Bay Harbor Company, stated that "I want to personally thank Epoch for their 10+ years of commitment to both Bay Harbor and all of Northern Michigan through their years of operation of Latitude and their continued ownership and operation of Knot Just a Bar. With this transition, we now look forward with great anticipation to the Symons new restaurant bringing a new excitement to the Village of Bay Harbor in time for the summer season."
Latitude has been the recipient of plentiful accolades since its 1999 opening, and has become a popular summertime dining destination. Sabina said that "we (Epoch) are thankful for the tremendous support of local residents and tourists alike, we have enjoyed the privilege of serving this wonderful community for the past decade, and we look forward to continuing to do the same at the Knot."
